A Stunning In-Flight Experience
At 45,000 feet, passengers in the Praetor 600 experience a comfortable 5,800-foot cabin altitude, lower than any super-midsize business aircraft. Not only does this remarkable feature allow passengers to feel rested and refreshed following a long ocean-spanning journey, more oxygen equates to a healthier in-flight travel atmosphere, which is paramount in today’s environment. Furthermore, the aircraft can be equipped with a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter and the ability to circulate 100% fresh air. The HEPA filter captures 99.97% of bacteria, viruses, and fungus.

Besides providing a superior cabin environment, the design of the space is unparalleled. The true six-foot-tall, flat-floor cabin was meticulously designed for passenger comfort, guided by the science of ergonomics. Fully berthing seats create four separate beds for sleep or relaxation. With four passengers and NBAA IFR Reserves, the Praetor 600 has an intercontinental range of 7,441 km, equivalent to a maximum endurance of over nine hours, with the highest payload capacity in its class. The Praetor 600 is far and away the farthest-flying super-midsize business jet, allowing non-stop flights between Dubai and London, Paris and New York, and São Paulo and Miami. No aircraft in the super-midsize class has better fuel efficiency, because the Praetor 600 was designed using Embraer’s DIPAS (Integrated Development of Environmentally Sustainable Products) methodology whereby the company conducts studies and implements Design for Environment (DfE) strategies. Through the program, Embraer develops alternative technologies to address the sustainability of the entire product lifecycle. The program considers technologies that reduces fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, noise, and maintenance costs, while also increasing operational efficiency and comfort for the pilots and passengers. As a result, the entire product lifecycle of the Praetor 600 was examined for environmental impacts before manufacturing even began. To top it off, in 2019, the Praetor 600 completed its first Atlantic crossing fuelled by a blend of Jet A and sustainable aviation fuel.
