AMAC Aerospace AG has recently won the tender to acquire additional land that will enable it to expand its services and capabilities at its Bodrum (BJV) facility.

The company worked with the General Directorate of State Airport authorities to secure the additional land of up to 32,000sqm. The said space will house widebody hangars and a number of administrative and technical-support facilities. Construction plans are being drawn up and work on the new facilities is expected to commence immediately.

Stemming from the intricate operations that the company has established in its Basel, Switzerland headquarters, AMAC Aerospace is ensuring that clients can bring their assets to the new Bodrum facility where related procedures can be carried out within a ‘one-stop shop’.

Hangars, offices, refurbished aprons, working areas and technical shops are all planned to be housed in one location. Construction will take approximately two years to complete with full operations expected to start thereafter in 2026. The present capabilities cover the maintenance activities for both airline and business aviation.
