Bigger, Better Selangor Aviation Show 2024

SAS 2024 has secured 110 exhibitors, including 15 aviation companies such as Cirrus Aircraft, Textron Aviation, Dassault Aviation, Bombardier, and UMW Aerospace Sdn Bhd. Delegations from the USA, UK, China, Singapore, Germany, France and the Czech Republic have confirmed participation.

The event, now on its fourth edition, is expected to attract 25,000 visitors from over 45 countries. Business transactions with a potential value of RM1.3 billion are anticipated to take place during the three-day event. To date, 12,000 people have registered for SAS 2024.

Among the event highlights is a static display of 50 aircraft from the US, France, Singapore, and Malaysia including the Diamond aircraft, Falcon 8x, Caravan, Piaggio Avanti, and more.

A programme of forums and talks, career fair, kids’ activities, and an exhilarating air show is planned for the event, alongside an aviation lifestyle showcase with an exotic cars display from Malaysian automotive manufacturers Bufori and Proton. The latter will showcase Smart Brabus, their first EV.

About 23 forums and talks will cover current trends for a sustainable aviation industry, aviation safety for navigating safer skies, the business aviation and general aviation supply chain, sports aviation regulations and the future of the space industry, as well as youth and women empowerment-related topics.

A career fair will return at the fair for the second time with 40 aerospace and aviation industry players participating. PERKESO will partner with SAS 2024 on the Career Fair to ensure that the platform connects potential talent and workforce with industry players.

Kids’ activities such as paper plane-making and colouring contests, mobile planetarium, and an outdoor giant inflatable astronaut will also be rolled out.

In the evening of 12 September, SAS 2024 will host Women in Aviation Awards in collaboration with Women in Aviation Asia (WiAA) and Women@MAG (Malaysia Aviation Group).
