44 W High-Level Expertise AMAC is able to respond to the high demand for Airbus and Boeing expertise. In late October last year, the AMAC Boeing team was engaged in a scheduled maintenance on a Boeing B737.The team performed an 1A-check, including touch- ups on soft and wood materials and the inspection of the Ka-band antenna.After the completed check, the full cabin was re- installed and the head of state aircraft was successfully handed over to the customer. In a show of high-level expertise,AMAC Aerospace worked on the maintenance of a Bombardier aircraft also in November 2022. The privately-owned Bombardier Global Express arrived at AMAC’s Basel facility for rectification. It had a leak in the oxygen system and its owner, after spending over a year searching for an MRO centre that could fix the problem, turned to AMAC. Within the same ground time,AMAC’s Bombardier team performed Controller Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) rectifications and the replacement of the Satellite ReceiverTransmitter (SRT). By early November, the aircraft was re-delivered and has since gone back on mission. Another Bombardier, this time a Global 6000, arrived in Basel for a 15-, 30-, 60-month checks as well as Out of Phase (OOP) tasks.Additionally, various Service Bulletins (SBs), including corrosion protection on the inner flap, were performed.The completion team installed a new carpet and carried out varnish and paint repairs, woodwork and other touch- ups in the cabin of the privately-owned aircraft. By the end of November, the aircraft was released back to the customer.
