The 911 CarreraT comes fitted with PorscheTorqueVectoring (PTV) with a mechanical rear differential lock.The system essentially uses targeted braking on the inside rear wheel to enhance the vehicle's steering behavior and steering precision during highly dynamic driving. The system offers considerable advantages, particularly when steering around corners. The inside rear wheel is braked selectively as soon as the driver starts to steer.This means the rear wheel on the outside has a higher drive torque than the inside wheel. The result? Significantly better handling with improved steering characteristics.
