AMAC Aerospace inked an agreement with Mukamalah Aviation to provide MRO services to the latter’s customers.

AMAC Aerospace and Mukamalah Aviation have entered into a collaborative venture providing MRO services to owners and operators of VIP aircraft in Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf. The said services will be extended to widebody, narrowbody, and other fixed-wing aircraft. AMAC Aerospace personnel will help deliver the said services to Mukamalah Aviation customers.

Starting out as Saudi Aramco Aviation in 1934, Mukamalah Aviation operates 54 aircraft and provides repair services on fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. It also manages aircraft, 18 airports, and more than 300 helipads throughout Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, AMAC Aerospace, founded in 2008 in Basel, Switzerland, specialises in large aircraft MRO, completions, and refurbishments.

GAMIT Ltd, an AMAC Aerospace Company based in Stansted, UK has been recently awarded a long-term contract to digitise the technical records of DRF Luftrettung’s fleet. The contract covers the use of digital records management solution called ROAM (Records Online Asset Management), a leading aerospace industry software produced by GAMIT.

DRF Luftrettung will utilise ROAM to further modernise its operations and seamlessly manage the technical documentation generated by its fleet using ROAM’s unique functions and integrations to monitor and manage airworthiness compliances. ROAM will enable DRF Luftrettung to capitalise on operational efficiencies optimising manpower and aid their continuous improvement objectives.

“We are excited to integrate ROAM into our daily operations,” says Roman Morka, Chief Technical Officer, DRF Luftrettung. “This cutting-edge solution not only advances our goal of becoming paperless but also enhances our operational efficiency, enabling us to deliver even higher standards of service to our clients.”

Chris Leese Wood, Chief Operating Officer, GAMIT says, “We are incredibly proud to have been selected by DRF Luftrettung. As one of the leading HEMS providers in Europe, DRF Luftrettung sets the bar for quality in rotorcraft operations and the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies. We look forward to supporting DRF Luftrettung in its operations and becoming a trusted partner.

“For ROAM, this is a very exciting moment as we take our experience with fixed wing operators and enter the world of rotorcraft. ROAM has grown from strength to strength as we implement new technologies into our OCR engine and new capabilities the system can offer to all of our users.”

The ROAM Standard

Founded in 1990, GAMIT (www.gamit.co.uk) opted to establish its headquarters at London Stansted Airport due to the expansion plans that would turn it into a major London international airport. Gamit’s specific objective was – and still is – to supply professional and technical support to local and international MROs (Maintenance Repair Organisation), airline companies, as well as private and corporate aircraft owners.

Developed by GAMIT, ROAM (www.roam.aero) uses the most advanced technologies in the world to deliver the best document management solution in the aerospace market available today. ROAM is highly scalable and beneficial to any technical services department for a single aircraft all the way to over 1,000 aircraft.
