Textron Aviation tops 2019 business jets deliveries with Cessna Citation Latitude
The Citation Latitude remains the industry’s most-delivered midsize jet for the fourth consecutive year
The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) recently published its annual shipment and billings report, announcing Textron Aviation as the company that delivered more jets in 2019 than any other business aircraft manufacturer in its segment. The report also confirmed the Cessna Citation Latitude as the most-delivered midsize business jet for the fourth consecutive year.
“Citation jets have redefined the general aviation industry and established aviation as a powerful business tool,” said Ron Draper, president and CEO of Textron Aviation. “Today, the diverse and innovative offerings of the Citation line-up combined with each jet’s performance and comfort features, continue to provide customers with the optimal aircraft and technical support for their travel and operating needs.”
In 2019, Textron Aviation delivered 206 Citation business jets, which includes the 13 deliveries of the super-midsize Cessna Citation Longitude, which only just received its certification in September last year.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Citation Latitude is the most delivered midsize business jet, with 58 delivered in 2019. Entering the market in 2015, the aircraft has quickly established itself as the Citation with the highest average daily utilisation.
